I have been to Whaddon Road just the once, which was the 2010/11 season with Gillingham. I was due to go to Cheltenham again with Gillingham in the 2012/13 season, got my ticket and everything, got on the train from where I live towards Strood to get the coach, only for the train to not continue any further than 2 stops due to a fragrant train in front breaking down which caused me to miss the coach. So I wasn't happy! I did look into going by train afterwards but would have missed most of the game, so wasn't worth going in the end. Of course I was expecting a few people to laugh at me, but hey ho that's life. Anyway, from what I remember on my first and only visit to Whaddon Road so far, I was quite lucky to go that time around as it got re-arranged for the Sunday so luckily got a lift with my dad as he works most Saturdays. Was a great day indeed, although we fell behind on 1-0, a quick 2 goals in the last 5 minutes got us the 3 points so went home happy! Overall it's not a bad little ground is Cheltenham, would happily visit again.
