Aldershot Town - The Recreation Ground
Last match I went to see: Aldershot Town 1-1 Gillingham, Saturday 2nd March 2013, League Two.
I have been to The Recreation Ground or otherwise known as The Electrical Services Stadium due to sponsorship deals, but I'll always know it as The EBB Stadium on a number of occasions now, due to past experiences. I won't go into detail of my past experience but probably the worst times of my growing up personally but if I'm honest, it's a shame to see an ex of mine support them as I do think of Aldershot as a nice club with a good fanbase down there, and do get behind their team. But anyway being a neutral now, it's probably not the greatest of grounds to visit but the good thing with Aldershot is the terracing behind the goal in the away stand. I last went when Aldershot had only 3 stands, but I do believe they do have a stand behind the goal now. Anyway, I've enjoyed visiting Aldershot with Gillingham so far as everytime I've been, they haven't lost. My last visit was probably the most emotional day for me personally, but seeing Leon Legge get the equaliser was probably the most mental I've ever been at a football match. But other than that, I don't intend on visiting Aldershot again unless Gillingham play there, but yeah that's all I'll say for now.
